7 Quick Takes: Volume 12

This will be the fastest 7 Quick Takes you’ve ever seen.  Done in 7 minutes. GO!

Steve came to visit this week.  It was awesome. Friends are important. I am very grateful to have a brother like him in my life.

Julie and I were planning to go to Soulfest this summer. That’s changed now. We are now going to a Defending the Faith conference in Steubenville. You should check it out.

The Pope made a somewhat interesting announcement last week. Want to know what it is? You’ll have to wait till next week.

I am currently playing through Bioshock:Infinite. It’s a weird game, especially philosophically.  Is it just me, or is everything trying to make Christianity or “religion” look stupid?

Speaking of that, I’ve been finding it hard to pray lately. Call it a dry spell or a desert, but it is tough. Does anybody else feel this way sometimes?

I have found myself being pretty negative lately. I’m making the committment to affirm someone on a daily basis.

I made it to number 7. 7 is a complete number. If you want some fun, find some references to 7 in the Scriptures and comment below.

Be sure to check out the blog of the wonderful Jennifer Fulweiler, the creator of 7 Quick Takes Friday. You can find her blog at Conversion Diary.

  1. Lots of people are trying to belittle Christianity, and lots more are trying to criminalize and/or pathologize it. But they can’t get rid of the Truth. The Truth lives on and shines through.
I have lots of dry spells. Everyone I know has them.
