Advent Challenge with MamaJ
I decided rather spontaneously to do an Advent series, and since I’m one of those people who tends to get rather gung-ho about Advent right at the beginning but ends up fading out early into week 2, I thought I’d challenge myself (and you!) in the hopes of keeping the Advent preparations going strong all the way through to Christmas!
I’m going to share with you what we’re doing for Advent in my home, and post a little something daily. I hope you share with me your ideas and plans for preparing yourselves to receive Christ into your home and hearts!
As I have little ones, my primary focus is going to be a little more child-centered, but I will have some more adult things as well. We don’t really have any Advent traditions yet as a family, so I’m trying out some things. I’m hoping to keep it fairly simple because I think doing too much is often what results in things falling apart part way through.
I’m taking a lot of my ideas from other fantastic Catholic bloggers that I’m excited to share with you, mostly because I am one of the least creative people on the planet. I’m aiming at making this an easy to do, family-friendly, low-budget Advent.
So without further ado, the Advent Challenge has begun!
